AMAZING staff. Knowledgeable about the whales, caring for those who are sick and overall just good, kind people. Where do I begin?! This experience with 7 Seas Whale Watch in one word was "Magical." First, the crew members were exceptional! The three we interacted with most during our excursion Amanda, Natalie and Gabriel were knowledgable, friendly, warm and welcoming. Thank you! Amanda who was the naturalist on board delivered an informative tutorial before departing the dock. We moved out of Gloucester Harbor few minutes after the departure time of 9:30am. (We were waiting for a group of teachers and students from a nearby high school to board) Our excursion was the first one in 10 days because a nor'easter battered the region the week prior. The crew said it was anyone's guess what we would see. We travelled about 27 miles to an area of Stellwagen Bank. The ride was a bit rough for some passengers. Seasickness struck many so if you're a bit queasy be aware. We were on the boat for about 2 hours with not a whale in sight. We were wondering if the storm spooked the whales and drove them away for the time being. Then out of nowhere we hit a whale watching jackpot. The whales were everywhere! At one point there were three pods of whales surrounding our boat. We were told this group of about 40 whales was called an association. Amanda, the naturalist who described in great detail what and who we were seeing. Many of the whales have names and are identified by unique markings on their tails. Seeing the whales up close and hearing them was akin to a religious experience. We stayed in the Stellwagen Bank area idling near the whales and following them for about an hour. A few years ago we booked a wintertime whale watching trip on catamaran on the Island of Maui. That trip in the blue waters Hawaii, while enjoyable, could not hold a candle to what we experienced and saw on this 7 Seas trip. I can't say enough about the crew and the whales for making our trip so enjoyable. Happy travels! Cheers, Greg
Whale watching October 3
Made sure we got to see whales - going further than normal. Experienced some of the best sighting with multiple whale pods and over 200 dolphins .

Had an incredible day! Saw lots of Whales and other wildlife. The crew were excellent. The highlight of our trip to the USA!!
Whale breaches
We saw about 50 humpback whales. I saw about 6 or 7 breach’s and got good video on 4 of them. The whale expert did an excellent job about teaching us about humpback!
