DO NOT Book this Trip!!!!!
This is sad!! You book a trip 3 night to NYC, plan your trip around your nightly bookings through Viator and 2 of the 3 events booked don’t happen! The 45 minute Express trip text me the night before stating… “Her Text” -We have you scheduled sat night for a 8:30pm cruise in nyc we have a private event and the last departure will be 7pm we can change the cruise to tonight or sunday night or change the time to 7pm sat please confirm what is best. (Okay you didn’t know you had a private event scheduled before that) I was kind enough to change our plans and go with the 7pm, because really what other choice do I have, it’s the day before? Then…. She text me at 11:30 the day of with this- “ E can upgrade you to a 2 hour cruise departing close to Times Square at 7pm if you wish” Upgrade, absolutely my husband and 3 kids will be thrilled. Ha- We show up, it’s a complete cluster, the guy checking people into a line with 100 plus people tells me 3 times our system sucks but we don’t have your name in our reservations. So we stand there patiently waiting, watching the boat fill so full with people there’s no way we’re getting on it. First off what kind of upgrade is a jammed packed boat, and Second if the company changes your reservation TWICE they should be accommodating us!!! We had to purchase another 5 tickets to a different boat company!! My advice DO NOT book this trip! Another thing, I’d stay away from this app all together, as we are frantically searching for another boat to hop on, I get a text from our other reservation through this app for the next night canceling on us!! 2 out of 3 trips booked through this app didn’t happen and both canceled while we were in NY, at least have the decency to do it before we arrive so we can book other trips!

Great experience! This boat ride is a wonderful addition to any trip. Friendly staff. Little to no wait from scheduled time. 10/10
Original ride was cancelled, so they transferred us to Pier 78.
I didn’t go on the original Pier 36, transferred us to Pier 78. Very unforgettable experience, though.

The lady the did the tour was a true value I was born in New York and she really made that tour come alive with enriching us with New York’s history!!

The trip was cancelled and Viator refused to give me a refund. Don't waste your money or time. Extremely bad service.
