The first stop on your tour is Battery Park where you'll catch a glimpse of iconic buildings like Castle Clinton (America’s first immigration station) before hopping aboard the ferry to the Statue of Liberty. Once you reach Liberty Island, your guide will introduce you to the famous lady herself and share some of the most fascinating facts about her—including why she almost wasn't built at all! You'll also have some free time to explore the Statue of Liberty Museum at your own pace. Here, you can discover artifacts from the statue's construction that tell the story of one man’s monumental dream that brought an entire city together.

Know before you book
- This tour is in English.
- The ferry and grounds of Statue of Liberty are wheelchair accessible.
- Please note, the ferry does not operate during heavy rain or other adverse weather conditions; when this occurs, an alternative option is provided.
- If guests would like to get off at Ellis Island they are welcome to do so, however, this is not part of the guided tour.
- Walks and Devour comply with all local government regulations. Please refer to local government guidelines for the most up to date information.
- This is a walking tour. Guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty.
Know before you go
- The meeting time is 15 minutes prior to the tour start time. No refunds or re-bookings can be provided for late arrivals or no-shows.
- All guests are required to pass through airport-style security to board the ferry and again to disembark. No luggage, weapons, or food (except for water in a clear container) is allowed.
- If guests would like to get off at Ellis Island they are welcome to do so, however, this is not part of the guided tour.
- At Liberty Island handbags and backpacks must be stored in a locker. Lockers are $2.00.
- Please allow plenty of time to arrive for your tour. Transportation in NYC whether by taxi, car, or subway is notoriously slow and can often be unreliable.
- Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are always appreciated.

Cancellation policy
Cancellations received greater than 24 hours prior to tour commencement are fully refundable. Cancellations received within 24 hours of tour commencement are nonrefundable. Amendment requests are subject to availability and price changes. Late arrivals and no shows are nonrefundable. This is applicable to any tour participant that fails to arrive, or arrives after tour departure.

If you’re reading this, book it now! You’ll be one of the first on the boat and get the best spot before anyone else. Daniela (aka “Daniel”) treated us exceptionally well from start to finish. Her knowledge of the falls and the stories behind them was the perfect balance of informative and entertaining. She keeps you laughing throughout the tour and enjoys the experience right alongside you as if it were her first time seeing it. 10/10 — I would recommend this tour to anyone.
