Traveler reviews
DMZ Starbucks tour… amazing and family friendly
It was an amazing experience, learning the history and seeing the DMZ first hand. It was a reasonable price, which includes the tour and bus journey. Even though we went on a Monday and it was more limited it was still an amazing experience. I felt the irony sitting at the Starbucks observation deck drinking coffee and eating food while looking over the border and seeing the devastation and knowing that those on the other side were suffering was heartbreakingly ironic. But thanks to our tour guide Jun who was very sympathetic and empathetic I was able to appreciate the privilege while acknowledging their suffering. Beautifully heartbreaking experience. Would do it again. The bus has wifi aswell which was a plus!
DMZ Starbucks half day
Really interesting trip. Fascinating history and I learnt a lot from Jun, our guide. Everything went smoothly and they took us to the Starbucks early enough to get a seat and order. There’s a great pathway to the Starbucks/observatory and you can use the free telescopes to look across at North Korea. You wontbget much time to look at the building with exhibits at the bottom but it was fine. My wife was reluctant to come but she told me how surprised she was and thoroughly enjoyed it. A very enjoyable day (half day really) for us. I definitely recommend it but bring your passport
Our DMZ Trip
The male guide was very helpful, prepared us with what to expect at the site, and gave a very informative background of the Korean war, from the perspective of a Korean.
DMZ Rour with Jun
Fun and interesting tour to DMZ Observartory with Jun, including some interesting nuances about the influence of the world powers on the Korean War and the current situation with its geopolitical pro’s and con’s .
