Traveler reviews
Excellent daytrip and...
Excellent daytrip and guide. We are on a 3 generation family vacation, and the day was enjoyed by all. James was very kind, he made sure stops were accessible for my parents. We had frequent breaks and there was so much to see. We loved the Falkland stop, such a beautiful town. There was plenty of time to explore St Andrews. The coach was very comfortable and the drive was very scenic. Highly recommend.
Tour to St Andrew's and more
Had George, the best tour driver guide ever. Very knowledgeable and easy going. Rabbies ran this 9 hr tour even though we were only 2 people on trip. Other companies would have likely canceled. Highly recommend this trip. We left early and avoided the big buses. St Andrew's is more than golf. Lots of history and George had the answers.
Lovely, relaxing day
A lovely, relaxing day throughout the Scottish countryside. Our tour guide was great and very knowledgeable as well.
Great value for your money!
We had a wonderful time on this day tour, in large part due to our guide, James. He is knowledgeable, engaging and has a great sense of humor - a delight to spend the day with! We enjoyed all the stops (especially the Kelpies and St. Andrews) - James gave us a good overview of the sights and we were therefore able to explore and enjoy the time we had there. Highly recommend this tour!
This day trip was a bit...
This day trip was a bit disappointing. The Kelpies were interesting. However the itinerary stated approximately 2 hours in Falkland and approximately 3 hours in St. Andrews. Unfortunately in Falkland we were given a very short time (less than an hour) which was enough time to walk down a few streets but definitely not enough time for the palace or anything else. It is a shame as this a very charming village. St. Andrews was interesting. If your interest is only St. Andrews then this tour would be okay.
