Great Tour and Guide
The tour lasted around 3 hours. We went to many places and sampled food from the menu's. Along with the great food, we learned lots of history about each stop and all the spots in between. Great tour.
Not a complaint, but the hike was just a bit fast-paced for me at 84 but in good health
Great tour with Shannon! Glib, humorous, and she knows her Savannah! Nice group of 10 people. The food and historical stops were well-selected. My personal favorite was the biscuit and gravy in the Vietnamese restaurant. I brought a water bottle as recommended, but it really wasn't needed because cups of cold water were available at every tasting. We finished earlier than advertised, but not by much. My tour departure time was changed twice, and I ended up going 2 hours earlier than planned. Some confusion about our meeting place location, but otherwise good communications from Viator.
Good and bad.
Cyndi, the tour guide was amazing, food was very good. Learned a lot of history. Viator however, was not good. They sent confirmation of where to go and where to show up and it was incorrect. We were late for our tour because we were at the wrong location. When we called, they said we’re so sorry we should’ve called you. That is frustrating when you pay $180 for a tour.
Great Tour Guide
Country, our tour guide was just excellent! She was knowledgable, personable and entertaining. This is one of several food tours that our group has taken n various cities. We realize that everyone has different dietary restrictions. However, we found the sandwich at Zunzi's bland for our taste. so we would suggest that they make available, upon request, additional special sauce or seasoning. Dessert at the end of the tour consisted of Leopold's delicious Blueberry Praline Crunch ice cream!
Miss Country was fabulous!
Our guide, Miss Country, knows every inch of Historic Savannah and has a story for all of it. Really fun time and great food.
