Itinerary
Pass by: Our experienced, registered Tour Guide/Driver will pick you up at 7:00 am at your accommodation. Travel along the Atlantic Seaboard with the mountains on one side and the ocean on the other side.
Pass Bantry Bay, Clifton, and Camps Bay, and stop at Maiden's Cove for some photos. Here you will have a breathtaking view of the 12 Apostles mountain range as well as the Atlantic Ocean.
Upon arriving in Hout Bay, check-in at the snorkeling base in the harbor, receive a safety briefing, put on your snorkeling attire (included), and meet the team that will lead your snorkel adventure. You can also choose to rent a camera if desired. Upon arriving at Duiker Island, you'll jump in the water with these enchanting sea creatures. This activity is completely safe and our partners in charge of the snorkeling are experienced and always put your safety first. The guides will not allow you to do this activity if the sea conditions are not 100% safe. An experienced and qualified marine guide also will accompany you. Only competent swimmers are advised to embark on this adventure. The entire snorkeling adventure is just under three hours in duration.
After you have completed your snorkeling and returned to the base to get changed out of your snorkeling gear, proceed on your Cape Peninsula private tour. Travel on Chapman's Peak Drive, where you will have another photo opportunity. Chapman's Peak is one of the most scenic drives in the world.
The next stop is the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point, where you can explore the reserve and its lighthouse.
Visit the African Penguins colony at Boulder's Beach and marvel at these charming sea creatures. You may even find one or two of them parading next to you on the boardwalk, so have your camera ready for some close-up photos.
Pass by: Our return route is via the Old Cape Road with stunning views of the Muizenberg colorful beach huts in the distance, found along the False Bay coastline. Drop off will be at your accommodation in Cape Town after the tour.

Traveler reviews
Nothing but thieves in corporate clothing
We wanted to go snorkelling with seals so booked a day trip that incorporated this within, trip was booked for 04/10, with free cancellation until 02/10. 03/10 they messaged to say we couldn’t snorkel with seals the next day and they would refund the amount. So basically they waited until we couldn’t cancel FOC to tell us that a rabies outbreak which had been identified the month previous meant we couldn’t go on part of the trip. Had we known this we would have cancelled the whole trip as we had already done the rest. They only refund 21% (£66) of my trip. Looking at the cost of the remainder of the trip we should have been due at least £100. Dishonest behaviour and poor comms
A fun day!
We had a nice day with Raegan as our tour guide. He picked us up and gave us an extensive history lesson as we drove to our points of interest. The company we snorkeled with were professional and very friendly! We had the boat to ourselves and enjoyed snorkeling with seals, in a kelp forest and a whale sighting as we motored to the snorkel sight. The water was quite chilly - but the guide was accommodating to us ending a bit earlier and had hot chocolate to warm us up! Raegan then took us to the other points of interest and was ready to pick us up after a short hike around Cape Penninsula. We were unprepared for the charge to drive a winding road on the way home (we wish we had been told about this one ahead of time—or offered the choice) and the necessity of cash at each point given the South African power shortages. Overall, a very fun day!
Complete and interesting tour
A great experience, high recommended. The views on Cape of good Hope are incredible. Our guide, Mr. Reagan, was a friendly, kindly and professional person. He explained us everything with lots of details.
