Traveler reviews
A very beautiful experience
The history of distillation and the story of the distillery, very well presented by a passionate and humorous guide; the highlight of the visit, of course, was the tasting with the discovery of a gin with a delicately marked and excellent flavor.
Private Tour, just amazing
We had a really nice tour around the distillery with just the tree of us. Our guide gave us plenty of information about the background of the Skelligs, the history of the distillery and Irish whiskey itself. He told us the process of making whiskey and gin and let us taste two different whiskey at the end. The tour took us about 35 minutes. Absolute recommendation of you love a small and personal tour.
Good relaxed pace tour of a local business
Very informative whiskey and gin distillery tour and our guide new her trade, answering all our groups questions. Good tasting experience afterwards.
Good thing we did it
Simply a nice experience, especially since the tour was held in German, We learned a lot about the history of the still and could inform ourselves about the production of the gin
Great Irish distillery tour
We had an amazing time at this tour. I was already a fan of skellig gin and wanted to see where it was brewed and learn more about the history of it. Patricia, our tour guide, was so informative, funny, knowledgeable about the distillery and happy to answer our questions. Everything flowed from the history of the name of skeillig six18, to the brewing, seeing the distillery and of course the best part the tasting. Length of the tour was perfect about 50mins. And the price is so reasonable! Would happily return here again and will be recommending to others. Slainté
