A great experience eith Troll.IS

We were not sure which company the booking was with from the Trio Advisor booking page. However, we easily found we were with Troll at the meeting point. Everyone was super helpful and friendly. Our guide (Guilia) was great. Although the water was 38 degrees F we were quite comfortable in the dry suits. Waiting to get in the water was a bit hot though. I'm glad we booked a time early in the days as they line to get in the water was getting long by the time we were done.Absolutely recommend.

Go if you can!

OMG! This was amazing! First wear warm close fitting clothing. It won’t get wet. Our guide, Lee was wonderful. He made sure we were properly attired and protected from the cold. The experience in the river was magnificent! I would highly recommend this trip!

So glad we did it!

Our guide, Steven was great. His confident, relaxed and lighthearted demeanor put me at ease. For some reason I was expecting to meet at an actual building but the meeting spot is a parking lot that you pass by just before P5. There are bathrooms available but you change into your base layer in the back of what looks similar to a U-Haul moving vehicle with minimal privacy. Nobody seems to mind. The experience in the water was otherworldly and totally worth it. Once you get past the initial shock of cold water on your face, you get used to it and can relax and enjoy the experience. We were shown to roll over on our backs if we needed assistance or just to take a break which was reassuring. The pictures came quickly (later the same day for us even though he said it might be the next day) and are so fun.

We had a wonderful guide...

We had a wonderful guide who helped us all along the way and even stopped to help show me a better technique. The views were stunning with clear water. Not as cold as it seemed it would be!
