Itinerary
Meet your guide at the designated meeting place. Once all guests have arrived, you'll be transferred directly to the DMZ.
Imjingak, a symbol of Korean reunification desire, is a unique theme park featuring rides alongside barbed wire fences. It houses historical relics like the Freedom Bridge, used by 13,000 POWs for freedom, and a steam locomotive smokestack from the Korean War, abandoned for 55 years.
Pass by: Bridge on Imjingang River, crossed by 13,000 POWs in 1953 during the Korean War, symbolizes their "return to freedom."
Korea's DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) is a military demarcation zone between North and South Korea, where military activities are prohibited. It remains a significant symbol of division on the Korean Peninsula since the Korean War. DMZ Theater The DMZ Theater, often located within or near the DMZ Exhibition Hall in DMZ serves as an immersive storytelling space where visitors can deepen their understanding of the Korean Demilitarized Zone and its significance. The theater offers a mix of educational and emotional experiences through carefully curated audiovisual content. DMZ Exhibition Hall An informative and symbolic space designed to educate visitors about the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), a unique buffer zone that separates North and South Korea. This exhibition hall is situated near the DMZ, offering a closer look at the history, conflict, and aspirations for peace on the Korean Peninsula.
The DMZ tour's highlight includes exploring a North Korean tunnel, possibly for military purposes, with the 3rd tunnel extending 435 meters into South Korea. Visitors can also watch a documentary, view Korean War relics, and learn about the tunnel's discovery.
Dora Observatory provides a close-up view of North Korea, including Gaeseong City and the Gaeseong Industrial Complex. Visitors can also see a fake North Korean border village called "Propaganda Village," where lights are manipulated to create the illusion of activity.
Imjingak Pyeonghwa Nuri Park ( Pass By)

Traveler reviews
Difficult tour in good hands
A visit to the DMZ is, in my opinion, a strange thing. To get away from the suspected commercializing of a very serious situation and the possibility to be used for plain propaganda, it is necessary to have a guide who has a deep knowledge of what he is talking about and who is able to not only inform and entertain, but also to get into a dialogue with the group and to present his own experience or point of view. We were lucky to have Jackie the Storyteller as a guide who offered all of that. Ms Cao, who, as a former North Korean refugee, gave us the opportunity to get first hand impressions in the first part of the trip, left us too soon for my taste 😀. What she told us was highly interesting, and as always in such moments, there were many questions left in the end. I could have listened to her for hours.
It was a very nice tour...
It was a very nice tour to the DMZ. Our tourguide Jacky the Storyteller could provide us with a lot of knowledge. Also the Q&A session with Mrs. Cho was very informative and provided deep insides in the life of a formal North Korean citizen. To be able to see and to experience different aspects was fascanating. The 3rd tunnel is an experience I will never forget as well as to be able to have a look on the North Korean side of the DMZ by the Observation deck. All in all it was a tour that is a must do when your in Seoul.
Fantastic and enjoyable
Very good because better than expected. Our guide named Mr Jackie was very good and he is a very knowledgeable person about the tour. From the beginning he was given all the information about the tour to end. I recommend tourist should try this attraction.
A great learning experience in an entertaining way
Jackie the storyteller was very entertaining and informative. He told many stories to weave many facts about the DMZ. His explanations were very clear and understandable. He told us many historical facts in stories to add a human side of the DMZ and the Korean War. The woman from North Korea Ms Cho was very good and told us her personal story about life in North Korea and why she defected to South Korea
Jackie the storyteller
Jackie the storyteller was full of energy, made sure we had lots of rest stops and opportunities to grab a drink, taught us a lot; great tour guide. The observatory was excellent and I really enjoyed the story behind the suspension bridge. Thank you jackie
