The island has a beautiful, shallow spot of 1-6 meters which allows everyone to be a part of the waterworld without descending. Playful fish, curious turtles, cheeky yellowtail snappers and maybe even sleeping baby sharks.

Djeu Island is 2 minutes boat ride from Riamar Diving Center and one of the best places for snorkeling in Boa Vista. The island has a beautiful, shallow spot of 1-6 meters which allows everyone to be a part of the waterworld without descending. Playful fish, curious turtles, cheeky yellowtail snappers and maybe even sleeping baby sharks will welcome those who want to have a look into the everyday life of a busy coral reef. 

To add to the fun, after snorkeling, we stop at the island for a short walk or rest on the sandy beach. 

We do daily snorkeling trips for an hour everyday. Come and enjoy this enchanting islet with us! 

During snorkeling activities we only look at but not touch marine life in order to protect habitats and species.

A guia Mariana foi muito simpática e instrutiva. O tour passa pelos principais pontos relevantes do centro de San José. A comida servida no final do tour é o ponto alto. Poderiam cobrar um pouco menos para termos um melhor custo benefício aqui. Mesmo assim vale a pena, pois andar por conta própria no centro de San José pode ser perigoso.

Very informative, my guide was very kind and helpful, she was one of the best guides I’ve ever had. And even thought it was just me and her she made it very memorable in so many ways, food and drinks were amazing 10/10 would do this tour again!
