Questionable Safety

Unfortunately, this excursion was extremely disappointing and raised serious safety concerns. The most serious incident was my sister being left alone in the desert in the dark. Her quad bike engine suddenly switched off, leaving her separated from the group. None of the staff noticed she was missing or came back to check on her. She had to repeatedly restart the quad bike herself and speed up in the dark to find us. This was extremely dangerous and could have resulted in a serious accident. There was also no proper safety briefing — we were simply shown the accelerator and brake and told to go. Nobody explained the driving rules or how to properly operate the quad bike. The quad bikes also appeared poorly maintained, with brakes that were not working properly. The camel ride was extremely misleading. We were on the camel for approximately two seconds before being taken off, followed by what felt like a scam photography experience, with pressure to pay for photographs. Some of the staff were also rude and unhelpful. Overall, the lack of safety procedures, poor supervision and condition of the quad bikes are extremely concerning. Leaving a customer alone in the desert at night without even realising she was missing is unacceptable. I would not recommend this excursion.
