This square was built by Aníbal González for the Ibero-American Exhibition of 1929 and symbolizes the embrace of the old American territories.

A very nice tour
We have been on the tour today of Maria Luisa Park and the Spanish Steps. The time has accompanied and the square wonderful, but what has been a real luxury are the guides. Emilio and Rafa have been very attentive and have shared with us their love for the city as well as a lot of interesting curiosities. Don't miss it!

We had a great time at Plaza de España and Maria Luisa Park. Ismail our tour guide was very good. He was very knowledgeable and engaging.
