Reviews
We had a wonderful evening doing the tapas class. Maria, our chef and teacher, was fantastic. She was so knowledgeable and personable. I have don other cooking classes during my travels, and this one was by far the best! We loved all the dishes and look forward to making them at home!
I cannot recommend Taller Andaluz de Cocina enough! This was genuinely one of the highlights of my trip to Seville and such a wonderful way to experience traditional Spanish food, culture and hospitality. The experience began with a tour of Triana Market with Gaia which was so engaging and interesting. It was lovely to learn more about the local ingredients, Spanish food traditions and the culture of the area before getting hands on in the kitchen. We then learnt how to make traditional Paella Valenciana, delicious salmorejo and chickpeas with spinach tapas, all accompanied by some lovely sangria! Everything was absolutely delicious, and the whole cooking experience was so much fun. A huge thank you to Domenico, our fantastic chef, who was not only incredibly knowledgeable but also so funny and entertaining!! He made the experience engaging, relaxed and full of laughter. And a special thank you to Alicia, our wonderful host, who made everyone feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. They were both brilliant, and their warmth and enthusiasm really made the experience extra special. The vibes throughout were absolutely wonderful. Everyone was so friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and there was such a lovely energy within the group. It was the perfect combination of learning something new, enjoying incredible food and meeting lovely people from different places. As a solo traveller, I especially appreciated how inclusive and welcoming the experience was. I felt completely comfortable, and it was such a lovely opportunity to connect with others while immersing myself in Spanish culture. If you are visiting Seville, I would 100% recommend booking this experience. A truly memorable day that made my time in Seville even more special. ❤️
Chef Diana and Triana Market guide were outstanding! Thanks for a delicious day!
