Imjingak Park, located 7 km from the Military Demarcation Line, is well known for its related to the Korean War. Imjingak was built in 1972 with the hope that someday unification would be possible. The three-storied Imjingak is surrounded by several monuments, Unification Park and North Korea Center.

The 3rd Tunnel was discovered by South Korea in 1978. It spans over 1,635m in length, 2m in width, and 2m in height and is located 52km from Seoul. It is estimated that approximately 30,000 soldiers could move through the tunnel per hour.

(Optional) Gamaksan Chulleong Bridge, a suspension bridge has 150m length and 1.5m width locates in Solma-ri where Battle of Solma-ri, aka Battle of Gloster Hill held in 1951. The battle of Solma-ri is one of the representative battles fought by UN forces in the Korean War and has important meaning as it is recorded as a representative battle of isolation defense. During the battle, about 650 British troops sacrifice themselves against 25,000 Chinese troops for three days and it allows the UN forces to redeploy their troops to stop the Chinese invasion of Seoul.
