From the chilling tales of Big Foot to the lingering spirits of the haunted hotel that steven Spielberg reportedly saw a spirit that inspired the movie Poltergeist, this tour will guide you in the footsteps of the past, uncovering the stories and secrets that have shaped this remarkable town. Go at your own pace, stop and go as you please. This is smartphone guided and plays automatically (using GPS) as you walk. it's step by step navigated and designed to be hands free. The tour takes roughly one hour without stopping. But feel free to stop in at one of the haunted drinking establishments for refreshments, if you dare!

Meeting point

The tour starts at the big foot statue, just across from the Jefferson Tourism and Visitor Center. You'll hear about the history of Big foot, and then be guided step by step through Jefferson learning it's spooky history.

We weren't in Jefferson on a day that the Ghost Tours were taking place so we tried this recorded walking tour. It turned out to be great. We could walk at our own pace, start the tour when we wanted, pause when we wanted to, and rewind if we missed something interesting. I would try it in any other city it's available.
