Grand Central is Much More than just a Train Terminal
If you are looking for a unique tour, the Secrets of Grand Central is a good choice. Our guide Cullen was a wealth of information about the history and workings of Grand Central. Beyond the beautiful concourse, there are do many interesting areas of the terminal. Take 90 minutes and do this tour.
Either book a tour or plan for at least 2 hours there
We had just spent 30 minutes walking here on our last visit. This time we booked a tour. We really enjoyed this so much more. We also couldn't believe how many shops there are here.
Laura’s Grand Central is Grand
This is the best tour of its type that I have done. Laura was the ideal guide, well prepared with visual aids on her ipad and word perfect in her presentation. If you gave any interest in Grand Central’s story, I can highly recommend.
History of Grand Central Station.
There’s a lot of history to GCS but it’s interesting. I liked seeing parts of GCS that one would never know existed. It is a beautiful terminal and amazing it was built during the Great Depression. Through the help of Jacqueline Kennedy and others, GCS survived and was rescued from collapsing due to the downfall of the train industry.
