Amazing experience!
What a fantastic tour! Andrei was such a friendly, engaging and knowledgeable host, his stories of the history of the catacombs really set the scene. Highly recommend!
The tour with the experienced guide is very worth it
I am so glad that we opted for the guided tour. Our tour guide, Andrei, was fantastic, and I could tell we were getting so much more information about how the quarries came to be and how that connected to centuries and centuries of the growth of the city of Paris (fascinating) than the visitors quickly walking past a lot of interesting things in a rush to see the ossuary. I also loved the fact that we were able to go into two closed sections of the catacombs and see things that the common visitor doesn't get to see, especially the architectural reliefs of Port Philipe and Quartier de Cazerne - the miner who created them was a great artist! - as well as two small chapels.
Very interesting visit
Very good organization. Attention, many stairs to go down and back up. The audio guide is available in several languages. You do the tour at your own pace. Worth seeing once. Very interesting.
The way the bones were...
The way the bones were arranged in the Catacombs was incredible. The worker who died there built sculptures from sandstone on his lunch break amazing. Our tour guide Amber, her knowledge about the history etc. blew us away. She was the best.

This was such a great tour! So worth the money! Our tour guide Amber was so amazing!! She told us great history about the catacombs and had wonderful stories that made the experience come to life! This was a 10/10 experience would absolutely recommend doing this to anyone!
