Discover the charm of one of Washington, D.C.'s most iconic neighborhoods on our Secret Food Tour: Georgetown. Known for its cobblestone streets, historic landmarks, and a food scene shaped by decades of local tradition, Georgetown offers the perfect blend of culture, history, and flavor. Led by an expert local guide, small groups of up to 12 enjoy 5+ tastings over roughly 3 hours, showcasing the very best of this beloved district.

Your tour begins on Wisconsin Avenue, the heart of Georgetown, where cobblestone streets and historic row houses set the scene. Your first stop is a neighborhood favorite led by a Michelin-recognized chef, known for fresh pita and creamy hummus, and for a line that stretches down the block. From there, head to a longtime local butcher shop for Washington's famous handmade half smoke, a true D.C. classic.

Along the way, you'll pass the former home of Julia Child and hear how she introduced generations of Americans to French cooking. The walk continues to the Georgetown waterfront, where you'll taste a farm-to-table taco made with seasonal ingredients and bold flavor, while strolling past the historic C&O Canal, the legendary Blues Alley jazz club, and the Old Stone House, the oldest unchanged building in Washington, D.C.

No visit to Georgetown is complete without a stop for one of the city's favorite cupcakes, from a beloved local bakery many Washingtonians call the best in town. And as with every Secret Food Tour, guests finish with our mystery Secret Dish, revealed only on the day.
