Taste your way through Nice's Old Town the way locals actually eat, with 9 tastings that trace the city's French and Italian roots in a single morning. Your expert local guide leads a small group of no more than 12 through the narrow lanes of Vieux Nice, stopping at local bakeries, socca counters and neighborhood kitchens chosen for the dishes Niçois families still cook at home. Expect crispy socca hot from the oven, Petits Farcis, Pissaladière, ratatouille, a slow-cooked Daube Niçoise and Pan Bagna, the sandwich every local has an opinion on. Along the way, your guide explains how centuries under the House of Savoy shaped a cuisine unlike anywhere else in France. Local wines are poured along the route, and the tour closes with ice cream and a Secret Dish we keep under wraps until it reaches the table.
