A must do!

Experiencing the commercial aspect of a city while vacationing is equally important to me and this tour met my expectations. The weather was perfect and our guide Manon was prepped, energetic and engaging.

Oh My, Ships Galore! AMAZING!

USCG Master Captain Peter Pearson was very informative and had great stories as well. He commanded the boat and got us up close and personal with the different ships which were very impressive! The whole experience was one in a life time if we never get back down this way! A must experience opportunity that was well worth it!

Highlight of our trip

We had a really enjoyable time on this port tour and would definitely recommend it. Captain Peter was awesome—very knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging throughout the ride. He didn’t just point out the Georgia port operations, but also shared a lot of interesting history along the Savannah River. The boat ride itself was also very pleasant. Seeing downtown Savannah and the port in action gave a great perspective of how the city and its port connect. I’m really glad we came across this tour in a local travel brochure—it turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit. If you’re interested in the river, shipping, or local history, this is absolutely worth doing!
