Oia, located on Santorini’s caldera, is a breathtaking village famous for its stunning sunsets, whitewashed houses, and iconic blue-domed churches. Its narrow, cobblestone streets are lined with charming shops, art galleries, and cozy cafes, offering panoramic views of the Aegean Sea. Once a quiet fishing village, Oia has become a romantic haven, attracting travelers with its picturesque beauty and serene atmosphere. The contrast of vivid bougainvillea against the crisp white buildings adds to its timeless charm.
The Aegean Sea, nestled between Greece and Turkey, is a sparkling expanse of the Mediterranean, known for its crystal-clear waters and rich history. It’s dotted with thousands of islands, including famous ones like Santorini, Mykonos, and Rhodes, each offering stunning landscapes and ancient ruins. The sea has been a cradle of civilization, influencing cultures from the Minoans to the Byzantines. Its calm, azure waters are perfect for sailing, swimming, and exploring quaint coastal towns steeped in myth and tradition.
Fira, the vibrant capital of Santorini, Greece, is perched on the island’s dramatic caldera edge, offering breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea. Known for its stunning sunsets, whitewashed buildings, and blue-domed churches, Fira is a bustling hub of activity. Its lively streets are filled with cafes, restaurants, shops, and art galleries, blending traditional charm with modern flair. The town also boasts archaeological sites, like the Museum of Prehistoric Thira, showcasing the island’s rich history. Fira’s energetic atmosphere makes it a must-visit destination.

Traveler reviews
Our guide Katerina was...
Our guide Katerina was punctual, informative, and able to cater the tour to our interests. She took lots of photos for us. Our 4th time to Santorini, but most memorable.
Viator tours always come through for us.
Our guide was missing in action (apparently due to a flat tire). There was no communication from him until we emailed Viator services. Once they were notified, they quickly resolved the issue by assigning a new tour guide who gave us the best tour. He even added a couple extra hours to make up for our experience. We toured the infamous area for White House’s and blue domed churches, spent time wine tasting at the oldest winery in Greece, drove around other parts of Santorini, and had lunch at a very interesting restaurant before getting back to Fira. Demitri was the best and we really appreciate Viator stepping up to ensure we had a great time. This would have been a 5 star except for the original guide communication to Viator. Five stars for the tour with Demitri.
