Itinerary
Pass by: The cruise starts from Vlychada marina. Admire the unique formations of the beach while sailing.
Pass by: One of the most beautiful beaches of the island. Its distinct red coloration is caused by the rich in minerals and iron soil. Stop to take some photos. We do not drop you off. You do not stop for swimming.
Pass by: White Beach, which is only accessible by boat, is a marvel to look at. We do not stop for swimming or drop you off.
Our first swimming stop happens at the bay of Mesa Pigadia. You can snorkel, swim or just relax at the sundeck. We do not drop you off at the beach.
Pass by: Sail below the Indian Rocks near the caves and rock formations, characteristic to the Aegean landscape.
Stop at the hot springs for a swim session at the sulfurous waters that offer a natural spa. We do not drop you off, you need to swim to reach the springs.
Pass by: We sail towards the volcano and explain the volcano explosion.
Stop for swimming, grab a refreshing drink, while the crew prepares your BBQ meal
Pass by: Our experience will end at the southern Port of Vlychada.

Know before you book
- Hotel pickup and drop-off are included in the price.
- The tour operates in all weather conditions; cancellations may occur due to severe weather.
- Children under 6 years old are not permitted on the tour.

- Bring sunscreen and a hat for sun protection.
- Arrive at the departure point at least 15 minutes early.

Good to know
- Cruise Ship Guests: Most tender boats drop you off at the Old Port of Fira, but WE CAN NOT PICK YOU UP from there since there is no road access. You will need to take the cable car to reach our office in Fira and be there at least one hour before the start of our sailing cruise. Let us know what time the tender starts and gets back to your cruise ship. We need to make sure that you have enough time to return.
- Passport name, gender, number, expiration date, and country are required at time of booking for all participants according to the Greek Maritime Law
- Minimum age is 18 years to consume alcohol
- Vegetarian options are available, please make your request upon booking
- Bring your own sunscreen, swimsuit, sunglasses and windbreaker

Happy Day Catamaran Cruise is a MUST DO activity!
Our boat, Happy Day, was the most beautiful, cleanest, comfortable boat imaginable. We went through Spiridakos for our cruise, and they were incredibly professional and accommodating. Our guide, Vito, was exceptional. Such a friendly, engaging, and outgoing personality. He is extremely knowledgeable about the rich history of the areas where we sailed and Santorini generally. The food and beverages were amazing. Some of the best Greek food we have had in Greece. Restaurant quality, which I was not expecting on a catamaran cruise. The crew was very attentive, offering to take pictures of us in the beautiful scenery and giving us soft blankets when the sun started setting and the wind kicked up a bit. Such a positive and memorable experience!

We had a great day experiencing Santorini from the water. The catamaran crew was friendly and engaging.
Just Ok cruise
I have been on catamaran rides in many places— Hawaii, Bahamas and Bora Bora. This cruise ranked as my least favorite. Part of the problem was not the crew’s fault. The weather was very cool. But since the company has these cruises 24/7, accommodations should have been made. The last hour of the cruise, all the passengers were huddled in the small enclosed area of the boat. The crew could have lessened the cold by offering passengers towels to cover up with and hot drinks. Since it was so chilly, hardly anyone went into the water, even at the supposed “hot” springs. Those who did go in got out within 5 minutes. Second, the meal served was very good, but we should have been served snacks before the meal and given a dessert after. People were starving before dinner was served. The crew did have a plate of store-bought cookies set out, but that was disappointing. The crew of the Bonita was pleasant, but could have filled some of the time with more stories about the history of Santorini. In short, this was just OK, even if the weather would have been warmer.
Great time sailing the sea
We had a wonderful time aboard the Evanna! It was a super nice ship with a fantastic crew all around. The timing of it all was great and the food was plentiful and delicious. Well worth it and a highlight of our trip.
