Traveler reviews
A Real Treat!
Staff is so friendly and helpful! Food was good on dinner cruise. The DJ selected great music. We had a handicap person in our party and our seating was perfect and the staff was so kind.
We were Cheated.
We were CHEATED. We bought 5 tickets for our family based on your false advertisement that you have LIVE DJ on board. There was NO LIVE DJ instead boring recorded music was played and NO guests danced or used the dance floor. Also we paid for dinner but they forced us to pay for the juice. We did not drink champagne or order alcohol just regular juice. We demand compensation and refund.
Lovely experience
It was a very lovely Experience that for sure we will like to repeat! Everything was delicious and the team of city tours made it more special!
This was a great...
This was a great opportunity to have a nice dinner on the water while the sun is going down. The food was good and the service was great. It was calming and I loved it
What a disappointment!
This dinner cruise was the biggest disappointment of our entire San Diego vacation! Over-priced, over-promised and seriously under-delivered. If you're looking for romance, do yourselves a favor and go elsewhere. If you're looking for a nice dinner out, your money will buy a much better dinner just about anywhere else. (The buffet dinner did not contain all of the very few items shown on the menu. The food was reasonably tasty, but served at room temperature which was not very appetizing. The website description says that tea and coffee are included, but for us it cost an additiional fee.) In general, the evening was horribly overpriced for what you received. The boat itself has recently been renovated and is very pretty in a black/gold decor theme. The DJ was nothing to brag about. He was very slovenly dressed (his clothes were several sizes too large on him and his dress shirt was half tucked in/half out). He came by each table prior to leaving the dock to ask if there were any special events or celebrations at the table ... then completely ignored what he was told. Over the course of the entire event we recognized three songs that he played. The vast majority of songs were Mexican songs for salsa dancing ... he never played even one song suitable for a romantic/slow dance for a couple on a special night out. The ship's photographer took some nice photos of us as we entered the venue, but at the end of the cruise demanded that we purchase her entire package ... I would have gladly purchased the one photo that I liked, but she refused to sell just one photo, so we bought none of them. This was just plain offensive ... YOU don't make decisions on how we choose to spend OUR money! I didn't want to believe the multiiple, poor reviews about this dinner cruise, so we purchased it ... please don't make the same mistake we did! Listen to what others have said about this poor quality experience and take your hard earned vacation dollars elsewhere.
