- The tour operates daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with trolleys arriving at each stop approximately every 30 minutes.
- Children under 5 ride free when accompanied by a paying adult; discounted rates are available for children aged 5-12.
- Pets are not permitted on the trolley; however, service animals are welcome.

Great for quick San Diego trips
This hop on- hop off bus is a great option if you are only in San Diego for a limited time without a car. It incorporates all the major tourist stops, with flexibility to spend more time at some locations while skipping other stops. All the tour guides were amazing, and it was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend!
Convenient way to see San Diego
Checking in was easy. Stops were conveniently located and wait time between stops was minimal. All drivers were helpful , informative and professional. Overall a good experience.
Hop on/off Trolley San Diego
We like the live commentary so chose the Trolley over the big bus. location was convenient directly outside of the cruise port. But we purchased our tickets in advance and when we arrived two employees were telling us 2 different areas was the front of the line. Trolley arrives and it is full, but they are still selling tickets to people just walking up. They said another trolley was coming and after waiting 45+ minutes longer there were more people than the trolley could hold. Everyone that did get on saw people waiting at every stop to get on, but no one wanted to get off and risk not getting on the next Trolley. so EVERYONE stayed on. Driver was very nice, said another Trolley was coming but didn't know how full it was either. They blamed it on the cruise ship being in port, but they should have a limit to the number of tickets they sell per day. Once we arrived in Old Town everyone was forced to get off the Trolley and stand in line again to get on the next Trolley. no explanation, but guessing it was the drivers lunch time. So we stood in line in the hot sun again to get back on the trolley. We have done the hop on/off tours all over the world but after both the Trolley in Vancouver, BC and San Diego were over booked we will most likely stick to the Big Bus instead of the Trolley's. Sad as we prefer the smaller bus and live commentary. But not worth it if we spend most of the time waiting in lines to get on an available trolley. It was hard when people just purchasing a ticket walked in front of many of us who had purchased our tickets weeks in advance.

The trolley was a perfect way to explore at our leisure. We enjoyed every aspect of the day and later return to the places we found interesting.
