Itinerary
This full day experience begins during the early morning hours. For your own comfort, a fully air conditioned bus will pick you up from your hotel in Side.
In order to make your road trip to Pamukkale more enjoyable, several stops will take place. One among them will be at Korkuteli city. There, you can enjoy a breakfast or relax in a quiet cafeteria.
The journey from Kemer to Pamukkale is approximately 4 hours long. However, in order to enjoy a pleasurable road trip, two stops are included. During the first stop you will have to opportunity to have a tasty breakfast. The second stop will take place at the infamous Salda Lake.
We will visit a stonemason in Pamukkale, where you can learn about this great Turkish art. As soon as we arrive to Denizli we stop for 30 minutes comfort break, where you will have the opportunity to use facilities like toilets and find some refreshments. This is the right time and place to make your self ready for your visit to Pamukkale.
On arriving to Pamukkale, our tour guide will explain in detail everything you need to know about this place. Following this, you will have a 3-hour free-time to explore the area on your own! Depending on your interest you can decide how make use of this 3-hour time. You can walk on the white cliffs of Pamukkale or take a refreshing warm bath. You may choose to visit the historical remains of Hierapolis & Necropolis; or take swim in the famous Cleopatra’s Pool. Or you can do these entire options one after the other. The 3-hour free-time is all yours, plan to use it wisely!
The next stop will take place at the city of Denizli, which is the closest city to Pamukkale. There, you will enjoy a tasty and freshly made lunch which is included in the price.
After the lunch break it takes around 1 hour to drive to famous Salda lake.
Many people characterize this natural wonder as the “Turkish Maldives”. This is because the lake has turquoise waters, white shores and is surrounded by an incredibly beautiful forest. During your visit at the lake, take some time to relax by observing this magnificent landscape and by listening to the sounds of nature. If you wish, you can also swim into the turquoise waters.
Dinner will take place near the city Burdur. Take this chance to relax and enjoy your time before the end of this excursion.
This full day excursion to Salda Lake and Pamukkale finishes during the evening. After a comfortable road trip, the bus will drop you off at your hotel in Kemer.

Traveler reviews
A beautiful day!
I was a little wary of this tour after they cancelled the Salda Lake part due to not enough interest, and of course lots of online reviews saying Pamukkale was dried up/too busy/no longer worth visiting. However, it was an absolutely fantastic day! Pamukkale is still breathtakingly beautiful, and the historic city of Hierapolis is fascinating. Some of the travertines have dried out yes, but there are still plenty with water in and they are not overcrowded if you have a little patience. Tour wise, everything was well organised and ran smoothly, the transport was comfortable, the lunch was lovely. And a huge shout out to our tour guide Osman who was absolutely lovely, very knowledgeable and kept everyone happy and entertained the entire day! Highly recommend.
Well organized excursion
The trip was well organized, I received a pre-SMS on WhatsApp and could ask questions (Mete) and email. I liked the excursion itself, minus only for lunch (quality and drinks were not included), there was enough time, but it was possible to give less time to the lake as no one swam there, but more time on Pamukkale, 😊 in general, I was satisfied. Thanks to your entire team!
Pamukkale
Very nice experience !!! Recommend it !! All the best to our tour operator METE !! 5 STARS !! Hope we'll come back again !!!
Nice !
We had a pleasant day. The guide was very nice. The bus was on time at 5:20. Too bad we wasted 2 hours picking up other people from their hotel. We left Antalya at 7:30 a.m. Breakfast nothing more. Lunch very good but late. We ate at 4:30 p.m. Lake Salda is a marvel. Not too many people. We only stayed there for 45 minutes, much to our regret. Lots of people in Pamukale. Difficult to appreciate. You have to go all the way down to have fewer people. Shoes are prohibited. It slips a lot. Be careful. Cleopatra's pool is also full of people and the water is very warm. I didn't appreciate it. The Hierapiolis site is beautiful. There are small cars that can take you there. Sultriness. Entrance to Pamukale and cleopatra pool = 30€ Total day 63€ without drinks and extras. I wanted to visit this site so no regrets.
Tour super transfer disaster
We were picked up by a private transfer in the morning and taken to a bus. A disaster. It ran over everything that wasn't out of the way at 3... I still have goosebumps from it. It put us in constant danger. The tour itself was great. Our tour guide "Abby", I think her name was, was super motivated and it was fun. But the transfer was just a disaster. Lake Salda was our highlight.
