Escape to Salamina!!
I visited the island of Salamina in general beautiful beaches and very good food....I recommend it for a close escape with moments of relaxation from Athens!!
Terrific tour for history lovers
Theo was a fantastic tour guide. He taught us so much history in a few hours. We were very interested to see the site of the famous naval battle. Unfortunately, the archaeological museum of Salamis was closed on the day of our trip, but we went to the folk museum which was also interesting. Theo did a great job highlighting the historical significance of the various exhibits. The monastery was very beautiful and the beach stop was a must on a hot day.
A great experience for those who appreciate history
Visiting an island that is frequently ignored although it was the scenario of perhaps the most important battle shaping the Western civilization. Theodore, our guide, offered in depth explanations and answered numerous questions about the event linked to the Salamis naval battle.
stay safe and happy while traveling
