Traveler reviews
It was challenge.
Wonderful trip, delicious food, all guides made sure I felt safe and taking care off. Via Ferrara( first in my life) was to me challenging but totally doable. Zip lines greate. Overall it was a great day!
Go to key for some fun
My mother (85 years old) along with my daughter and I went to the Ark Encounter and zipped line there. We took the 1.5 hour one, worth every penny! I’d do it again. Going up the stairs was scarier than the zip line. The Ark was fantastic too, would recommend going, you’ll need to spend at least a day or two there especially if your zip lining too.
Unprofessional
My main annoyance is the fact me and my wife paid for the photo package and we have not received it - which should have been over a week ago. They have ignored our messages via what’s app and Instagram. We did have fun during the session but as a former Royal Air Force climbing instructor their practices were unsafe. In the UK it would not be acceptable … a couple of times my wife unclipped both her carabiners and if had fallen - game over. In the UK you always get them to practice on the ground before you climb. Not just a verbal instruction. If you are a kinesthetic learner and not an auditory learner (as I am) you are likely to make a mistake. It was fun but it’s really annoyed me the fact we paid for photos we haven’t received and as a climbing instructor in the UK can say they would not be allowed to operate as they are. Great fun a must do in Cusco
The via Ferrara was super fun with about and hour and 15 minutes of climbing where they give you breaks if when ever you need them. There are 6 ziplines in total all which are super fun with a great views over the valley. The guides were great fun, give you instructions at the beginning then your off. There were some fruits as snacks and also a photographer to take photos of you all the way round. Would definitely do again was around a half day tour so not a super early start or long day.
Via ferrata and zip lines a ton of fun
The via ferrata and zip line were a ton of fun. All the guides were friendly and very professional and safety conscious. They picked us up at our hotel in a very nice and comfortable van. They even ran us up to Ollataytambo afterwards. I highly recommend them for a great outdoor experience.
