Interesting, thought provoking, humbling

Jorgen, our tour guide was incredible. Very knowledgeable and took care of each person in our group. Some tour guides play favorites and you could tell he worked hard to engage each participant. I took a star down because we didn’t have much time at each exhibit to really experience parts of the memorial. It felt rushed. On the flip side of that, it was a long tour, so much to see, so I do understand the pace. buyer beware, if you go on a Sunday there is no bus from the train station to the memorial so add a 15-20 walk on each side of the tour. We did 14,000 steps. As for this memorial, it is interesting, and certainly historical. But also was created in Soviet Germany. It’s very different than other work camps I have toured. I had never heard of this place, I was very interested in its historical significance.

Highly Recommend Tina

We had Tina as our guide , her history knowledge of everything not just the concentration camp we attended was phenomenal, went above and beyond to make sure everyone knew where we were going and what was around us, highly recommend.

Great tour of a scary time in history

Nicoli was a great tour guide. Made sure we got to see as much as possible. The only complaints were maybe add a microphone - when we were on the train platform it was impossible to hear him and maybe slow down the walking pace a bit for the older guests. I'm a fast walker and I had to catch up a few times. Did a surprising job of keeping all 28 of us together throughout the trip! Could not have been an easy task. The information he provided on each area was top notch and I highly recommend taking this tour to anyone interested in history.
