Very interesting and definitely worth a visit.!

Very cute and knowledgeable guide. Irina was good to tell before we went to the barracks. Could have spent more time at the individual barracks. Otherwise a really good trip.

Poor quality tour with inexperienced guide.

After reading all the glowing reviews for this tour I am very surprised to be submitting a poor review but there really isn’t any other way to describe this tour. To start with our guide was 10 minutes late arriving at the meeting point when we had arrived 15 minutes early as requested so we were waiting but I think this was due to problems with the train so no big deal. We had a short intro and then got onto the train. No attempt to give any information during the journey. Once we got to the camp our guide took us around the main stops and attempted to explain the material she had in her little blue folder. This was difficult as her first language wasn’t English and she was struggling with the translation as well as not knowing the material, several times she said things that were actually factually incorrect- she told us that the night of the long knives was because the SS carried long knives whereas the SA carried short knives - this is just fiction. She constantly stumbled over the material and resorted to reading it out of her little blue folder. Whenever anyone asked a question she would get on a WhatsApp group with her fellow guides who would get her an answer. We gave up asking after a while and just asked ChatGPT. We wished we had just gone to the camp independently and used the audio guide or just used ChatGPT as our guide. All in all a very disappointing experience. We were expecting a knowledgeable professional guide.

Look no further, just choose this one

Out of all the things I experienced in Berlin, this was by far the most meaningful activity. The tour was excellent; both in terms of organization and content. Our tour guide Anja was both knowledgeable and allround great, she was able to answer all of the questions we threw at her. The group was small (=the main reason why I chose this operator and not another one), and the pace was just right. 10/10, highly recommend, would definitely do it again!
