Behind the stage tour gives one insight to this auditorium of great music. Architecture is very interesting .
A great spectrum of music history in one place
We really didn’t know what to expect when we booked our tour, only that everyone who had been to Nashville said that this was something we shouldn’t miss. We agree. We did the self-guided tour and we’re so glad that we started with the short film giving us an overview and history of the Ryman and how important it has been to the growth of Nashville. We loved reading about all of the artists who have played there! Just be sure to check for the hours of ticket sales if you walk up because they stop selling tickets at least an hour before they close.

Must Do in Nashville
It was an honor to see the Mother Church and stand in the spot where so many icons have stood! The small displays were well designed, and the intro movie gave a good overview of the history of the man and the building. Now I want to be sure to see a live performance here because I'm certain it will be memorable.

Signed up for the guided tour with self guide after - when I got to the pick up window, they had no record of my purchase however I was able to show them my verification and they let me in could’ve saved $15 by buying tickets at the door rather than going through Tripadvisor disappointed with that, however, the self guided Ryan theater tour was outstanding
