Itinerary
Trajan's Column is a Roman triumphal column in Rome. Completed in AD 113, the freestanding column is most famous for its spiral bas-relief, which depicts the wars between the Romans and Dacians . Its design has inspired numerous victory columns, both ancient and modern.
Trajan's Market is a large complex of ruins in the city. Thought to be the world's oldest shopping mall, the arcades in Trajan's Market are now believed by many to be administrative offices for Emperor Trajan.
Piazza Venezia is one of the most famous squares in Rome. This large square is home to a number of historic buildings, including the famous Victor Emmanuel II Monument and Palazzo Venezia.
The Jewish ghetto of Rome is a little hidden jewel between the Tiber and Piazza Venezia. It is also one of the less-known attractions of the city. the Jewish community in Rom is the oldest one in Europe and over the years the area has grown into a beautiful neighborhood filled with restaurants, churches, and synagogues that combine Jewish culture with grandeur of Roman architecture
This square is famous for its vibrant street market, where you can explore the many stalls and pick up some souvenirs.
Piazza Navona is an exquisite baroque square in Rome. Its origins can be traced back to the ancient roman times, when the area hosted a stadium. Notable landmarks are the Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi (Fountain of the Four Rivers) by Bernini and the Church of Santa Agnese in Agone.
The Pantheon is one of the best preserved monuments of the ancient Rome, as well as one of the greatest examples of the incredible ingenuity of the Roman Civilization. Originally a temple dedicated to all the gods, hence its name, it was converted into a church already in the 7th century. This is the reason why it looks basically identical as it was during the ancient times.
The Temple of Hadrian is an ancient Roman structure, dedicated to the emperor Hadrian.
The Trevi Fountain is the largest Baroque fountain of Rome and arguably the most famous and beautiful fountain in the world.

Rome experience 101.
Brian did an excellent job, explaining the history and significance of the different plazas, monuments and sites we covered during the tou, as well as allowing good private time to explore some of the venues by ourselves.
Book this tour with Brian
Brian was a PHENOMENAL guide! He made our experience so wonderful and enjoyable. Would highly recommend this tour for a good overview of Rome churches, squares, and fountains. Brian would make sure to stop in shaded areas during the tour (it was a very hot day), he was very friendly, and informative/knowledgeable about the places we stopped at. For the price, I would definitely recommend!
Great
Brian was great and very knowledgeable. Enjoyed it. It was a hot Rome day so he tried to place us in as much shade as possible.
