Itinerary
We will start this amazing experience with a pick up from your hotel at approximately 08H00 en route to the Nelson Mandela Gateway to Robben Island.
Set off for a 3 to 4-hour experience to see where Nelson Mandela and so many other civilians, politicians were incarcerated during the Apartheid regime. Skip the line of buying the tickets as this tour will have your pre-booked ticket ahead of time. Please take note that Robben Island Museum reserved the right to cancel any given tour at their own discretion. In the case of cancellation, you will be entitled to a full refund or an option to reschedule. Your guide-driver will not escort you to the Island as they have their own guides. You will be on the boat with other people. You will be given a full tour by an ex-prisoner.
After your Robben Island Museum tour, return to the V&A Waterfront, where you will have time to purchase a takeaway sandwich or light lunch at your own expense from one of the nearby restaurants or cafés.
Before continuing to Table Mountain, enjoy a short 15-minute photo stop in the Bo-Kaap, one of Cape Town’s most photographed neighbourhoods, famous for its colourful houses, cobbled streets, and Cape Malay heritage.
From Bo-Kaap, travel to the Table Mountain Cableway station. Your guide will provide your return cable car ticket and assist you with the boarding process. Enjoy a scenic cable car ride to the summit of Table Mountain, one of Cape Town’s top attractions and one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, with breathtaking views over the city, coastline, Atlantic Ocean, and Robben Island.
At the end of the day, we will drop you off at your accommodation in Cape Town.
