Itinerary
The River Plate Stadium opened in the late 1930s and hosted the FIFA World Cup in 1978. Explore the River Plate museum, where you will learn about the history and culture of the famous stadium as well as the River Plate team. Witness how the history of the stadium and team both parallels and inspires Argentina as a country. The visit will begin through the" temporary translation module ", which will show us part of the glory that River reaped through the years since its foundation in 1901. We will know the history of the club, its great players, and its titles most important.

Excellent tour of an amazing stadium
Loved the museum and tour - for a football fan from England, it was a great experience to visit El Monumental and the iconic club, River Plate (although letâs face it, itâs no Boundary Park!). The museum is well set out and very interesting - but selfishly, felt it could have had English translations to make it a more immersive experience. The tour was really good - getting to see all parts of the ground, including the changing rooms. By the way, the restaurant in the ground was superb.
