Awesome guide, Cris, and beautiful memories in the rivers!

Awesome time! We hiked to and then IN the rivers and were surrounded by canyon walls. The Rio Grande waters and Rio Salado waters were very cold and you'll need aqua socks at a minimum but perhaps even better an extra pair of hiking shoes for stability in the river. The sun was beautifully comforting after finishing the river portion of the hike, during which we got into and out of the river about 10 times, with the water coming as high as our thighs. Nice surroundings, and we were alone in nature. A great memory and awesome guide, Cris!
