More than just a food tour
Camila was such an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide, showing us to a number of local spots in Rio de Janeiro. We tried so many different foods along the tour from some of the more well known and iconic items to more local delicacies as well. It was a wonderful jam packed tour, where we really got to see parts of Rio de Janeiro we wouldn't have had the opportunity to visit on our own.
Excellent tour with an excellent guide!
Camila is an excellent guide. We felt safe walking around the city with her. She is funny, engaging and clearly loves Rio de Janeiro. We tasted fruits we had never heard of, had the best coxinhas in Rio, wonderful pão de queijo and tasty beer, all while talking and walking around her favorite spots in town.
A good mix of history, site seeing and food
Viana started on time and we kept a steady pace, starting in Cocabanoa area, going to center city, the historic district and returning to Cocabanoa. Carnival was going on so we saw a lot of local parades. We visited the main tourist sites. We had to make some changes in the food stops due to carnival and my wife’s lactose intolerance. Viana over came the obstacles and continued on with a positive attitude. Couldn’t not had a better guide.
Best Food Tour With Lots of Walking in Rio!
We were so impressed with our tour guide Heloisa! She was super friendly, upbeat and very attentive and knowledgeable - and she totally made our day! Cannot say enough good things about her - her English was impeccable, she was a great listener as well and was able to answer all of our questions! This was a wonderful food tour for someone who does not want to feel “big and bloated” at the end - it was the perfect mix of sampling great Brazilian foods at all the local places while getting great exercise! Extra appreciation for Heloisa showing us how to use the subway, which was very useful! 10/10 will book with this company again!
Food and History tour
Camila provided an exceptional food tour. Not just the food that locals eat and drink but a history of Rio that was entertaining. She adjusted the experience to meet our expectations. She made sure we saw the special areas of Rio. I highly recommend Camila to any person visiting Rio whether a foodie or not.
