Great Service
We were going to be late to pickup so rang to advise. Lady on the phone very helpful and let driver know. Driver rang to see where we were and said he would pick us up at another stop. Got there 3 minutes late but he waited. His commentary during the tour was excellent. Well done Greg.
Last minute winner!
The Richmond Village Tour was the highlight of our visit to Hobart. It was a last minute decision to pass time before our flight home but it turned out to be a winner! The bakery was fantastic and their pies to die for. The historic gaol was so interesting and a little spooky! Also spent time in Czegs cafe (the best red velvet cake). But the day was made complete by our guide Paul. His knowledge was first-class but his delivery and genuine interest in the guests on the bus was even better. Thanks Paul for an amazing day, this guy is a legend!
You can’t escape history
Australia's oldest bridge building 1825, the oldest gaol, and the oldest Catholic Church. What was great about this tour is that you are given 3hrs to explore the village, get some great photos, eat at one of the cafes I had a great tour guide Brendon who showed genuine interest in what he was talking about . Next time I’m down in Tasmania I will be using Coal River Valley Explorer Bus for other tours
Thankyou ☺️! A lovely place
A beautiful village worth a visit * Friendly informative coach driver . Had a lovely Devonshire tea.......
An amazing day out - thank you!!
What an amazing day out for our family on the Coal Valley Explorer Bus. Brendan was a terrific guide and so knowledgeable about the history of Hobart and the surrounding areas. We stopped in Richmond where we had 15mins for a quick trip to the bakery - we can highly recommend the mince pie and curried scallop pie - delicious!! We then travelled to the Zoo and aquarium for the afternoon where we did an encounter with a squirrel monkey - so much fun! The zoo was great. Then we headed back to Hobart via Richmond. A beautiful day out for our family and Brendan is such a credit to you! Thanks!! Highly recommend this rour to others.
