Itinerary
Pass by: After pickup from Central Zurich (Sihlquai Bus Station), drive through the picturesque landscape with gently rolling vineyards and charming farming villages to reach the splendid medieval Castle Laufen!
Enjoy approx. 1 ¾ hours of leisure time at the mighty Rhine Falls, one of Switzerland's major attractions. Delight in unique views of Europe's biggest waterfalls from the panoramic lift and see how an average of 700'000 liters of water per second plunge across a width of 150 meters into the basin below. A beautiful, short stroll on the Belvedere panoramic trail takes you to the viewing platform right above the falls where you feel the spindrift of the rumbling waters. Take an optional boat ride (summer only) close to the falls. Visit the Historama at the patriarchal castle to learn more about the interesting history of this unique place.
Pass by: The return journey passes by the picturesque town of Schaffhausen with its well-known Munot Fortress from the 16th century. The way then continues for a short stretch through Germany before you arrive back in the city centre of Zürich.

Traveler reviews
A lot of ragging water
The falls are so much more than I expected. The castle was nice. I wish I had climbed to the top of the opposite tower.
Great experience!
Easy to find being at the bus station, staff were organised and we started on time. If you are choosing to do the optional boat ride, make the decision beforehand and have payment ready. We had a few travellers who changed their mind and decided to do the boat ride but that held us up at the start once at the falls. A little annoying, but everything else was wonderful. Our guide was knowledgeable and bilingual so that helped most passengers. A fantastic day out, would thoroughly recommend.
Will Remember the Rhine Forever!
This was a great tour and one that I will never forget. The bus driver, Victoria, led us on a very safe trip. Neilson was a top notch tour guide. He gave many interesting facts about the area and made the trip very fun! I highly recommend this tour to all that love nature!
Waterfall and half-timbered tour
My wife and I were traveling for the first time in Switzerland and this was one of three tours we booked. This was a great experience with fantastic views of the waterfall! We also really enjoyed driving through a small village and seeing all the half-timbered homes.
Great half day at the Rhine falls
Great trip to the Rhine falls, Adolfo, Diane and Ugo were great. Plenty of time at the falls and everything was really well organised
