Red Rocks, Lookout Mountain & Golden—A Must-Do Colorado Tour!
What an incredible day exploring the beauty and history of Colorado! 🏔️I requested to sit in front because I had motion sickness and the ride was fabulous. Our adventure began at Denver Union Station before heading into the breathtaking Red Rocks Park & Amphitheatre, where we experienced the awe-inspiring natural rock formations and one of the world’s most iconic concert venues. Stopped by the gift shop and bought a t-shirt to commemorate my visit. It’s best to wait until you visit Golden later in the day where the prices will be $10 cheaper. Our guide mentioned that to us as well, I guess I wasn’t listening and was caught up in the views of the area. Next, we made our way to Lookout Mountain, taking in spectacular panoramic views of downtown Denver, the Rocky Mountains, and the surrounding plains. We also learned about the area’s rich history, including the resting place of the legendary Buffalo Bill. I stopped in the gift shop and snacked on a bison jerkey that was indeed a tasty snack. Traveling along portions of the scenic Lariat Loop, we enjoyed stunning mountain vistas before arriving in the charming western town of Golden. We strolled along beautiful Clear Creek, explored the quaint shops, and soaked in the welcoming small-town atmosphere. From incredible scenery to fascinating history, this Colorado tour was a memorable experience filled with unforgettable views and wonderful moments! Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and made the 11 people in our van feel welcomed as we all got a chance to introduce ourselves at the start of the trip. He even recommended places to eat and drink at during our last stop. This is a fabulous tour take. I recommend it.
