A fabulous tour
We found the distillery quite easily located in an old industrial estate. We were greeted by the co owner Bhagya. We were the only 2 people on the tour but this didn't stop the wonderful Bhagya giving us a fantastic tour and tasting. We tried Gin, Vodka and Absinthe in a variety of mixers. Both the gin and absinthe were superb and even the vodka wasn't bad and I don't usually care for vodka. She was very knowledgeable about the distillery, the products the distillation process as well as the history of the building. We saw the beautiful copper still the spirits are distilled in as well. Ultimately though the star of the tour is Bhagya. An Indian lady who has lived in Ireland for 13 years just simply talking to her for an hour or so is worth the admission fee alone. She is a star. I highly recommend this tour. It is quite close to the city centre.
Definitely one to do in Cork
Fantastic few hours. The co founder was amazing and we had so much fun with her. Great tour, personable, fun, gin, vodka and absinthe fantastic. Would give the whole thing ten out of ten. Well done. We wish you and your husband all the best.
