Itinerary

1

The tour begins with a walk in the rainforest looking for all kinds of birds, insects, and amphibians. Continuing the walk on the trails, you will come to the Canopy Bridge system section. This system consists of suspension bridges, built to U.S. engineering standards. The six sections total 250 meters, spanning from platforms attached to massive hardwood trees to create the most impressive Canopy Walk in Costa Rica. The design permits minimal forest impact, allowing our participants to explore the majesty of the forest canopy from a bird's eye view. As we continue the walk in the jungle you'll find the beautiful pristine river of the Rainmaker Park. Handrails and easy-to-follow footpaths along with observation platforms allow you to observe waterfalls and capture with photographs the rich biodiversity this unique site has to offer. Close to the end of the walk, a pristine waterfall pool will beckon you to enjoy a refreshing dip.

Rainmaker Tour

The Rainmaker tour was a terrific experience. Our tour guide Kenneth was very knowledgeable and made the tour incredibly enjoyable. He went above and beyond to point all the wildlife along our path, take group photos, and allowed us as long as we wanted when we were swimming at the waterfalls. I highly recommend this tour and Kenneth as a tour guide when visiting Costa Rica.

Fun, unexpected adventure!

This hike and adventure was a pleasant surprise! We decided on our way to SJO to stop by and check it out, and it ended up being a highlight of our trip! This is definitely not an easy stroll, so plan accordingly due to some steep climbs, descents. We did find the cost of entry a little steep, but did get the experience of walking bridges and some swimming holes. The rain started half way through for us, so we ended up walking back in the rain and got soaked, but it made it a fun experience and memory. You cannot swim in the swimming holes or river during rain, and that was emphasized at the entry. We had luggage in our car which made me very nervous, but it felt safe and private and when we asked the woman at entry, she reassured us the car would be fine. And it was :)
