Traveler reviews
Visit Phil at Punxsutawney
An excellent bucket list item if you are passing through and even worth a detour to experience America's beloved weather forecaster. We took a detour to break our long road trip back to NYC from Cleveland to check this off. There are many things to experience in this beautiful town, but main attraction is to visit Gobbler's knob, meet Phil in his burrow at the library, and hunt for 40 plus 'Phantastic Phils' around the town. Definitely worth a visit. We enjoyed our stopover very much.
Informational walk through the town of Phil!
We enjoyed this and learned much more than if we had walked around the town by ourselves. Definitely should have had ear phones as we could barely hear it with all the traffic. Thanks for all the info on the history of Phil!
Scam
This was a scam. There are no tours. The 9nly tour is on zground aHog Day and it is free. Do not waste your money on this scam.
Worth the trip to visit this town
Truly a remarkable place. So much fun to see all the 41 statues of Punxsutawney Phil. Plus you get to see the real Phil, his wife and twins. It’s kinda like a treasure hunt to find all the statues. While you’re looking for the statues, stop into one of the restaurants a long the way. We stopped at Fox’s pizza den down an alley. They served pizza and subs. Best sub I had ever eaten. Friendly place also.
Perfect Weekend in Punxsutawney!
This tour was great! We highly recommend and definitely worth doing! It was a wonderful way in learning about the town.
