Itinerary
We will pick you up at centrally located hotels in Bariloche.
Once we arrive at Puerto Pañuelo we will embark and start sailing the Nahuel Huapi lake. Meet your sightseeing boat to Puerto Blest (national park fee and boat tax not included) and cruise over the pristine cobalt waters of Nahuel Huapi Lake.
Enjoy the native coihue and Patagonian cypress that line the shores, along with moss, ferns and unique fungi found only in this area.
Then we will pass Centinela Island, where Dr Francisco Moreno, the national park's founder, is laid to rest. Listen to the proud blast of the boat's horn as you pass his gravesite in salute to his memory.
We will navigate towards Cántaros Waterfalls, from where we can observe the majestic larch tree, which is believed to be 1,500 years old. Then, we will walk for a while and we will enter into the Valdivian jungle vegetation to reach the Cántaros lake, waterfall birthplace.
Then we will go back to the boat and sail for only five more minutes to finally arrive at Blest Port, an incredible place visited by many tourists from all over. Arrive in Puerto Blest for lunch at a lakeside restaurant (own expense). After lunch, follow your guide on a leisurely walk up toward the top of Los Cantaros Waterfall. Stroll along the edge of Los Cantaros Lake and enjoy free time to relax or explore the hiking trails in the area.
Lago Frías Extension: This extended tour departs by bus from Puerto Blest for a 3 km ride to Puerto Alegre (Alegre Port.) The tour continues on a modern boat ride through Lago Frías (Frías Lake.) The peculiar green waters are the result of minuscule particles of pulverized rock, caused by the glacier grinding against the rocky walls of Cerro Tronador, whose striking white summit stands out over the wooded landscape, a sight only available from a boat. After another 20 minutes, you arrive at Puerto Frías (Frías Port,) next to the Chilean border, for a short stop before taking the tour back to Pañuelo Port.
Pass by: After that, according to the time prestableshed with your guide, board again your boat for a return to Puerto Pañuelo, where you will meet your coach and return to Bariloche for hotel drop-off.

Traveler reviews
Great trip to start exploring patagonia
This is a really good trip with breathtaking views all day long. Frias lake and the view of the mountain surrounding the lake is hard to describe in words, we saw Tronador glacier from the boat. The views at Puerto Blest, specially from the restaurant while having lunch would stay in our memory lifelong. I highly recommend this trip.
Tour in Bariloche
Very nice walk, beautiful landscapes, worth thinking to buy the optional from the lake Frias. The ladder to the Los Cántaros waterfall has more than 750 steps to the top where the lake is, about 33 floors, up to the 1st mirador are 375, as each 4 steps has about 5 meters of rest, horizontal path without steps, at the right pace of each, you can go to at least the 1st mirante, but it is optional, if you can stay in the boat without climbing.
Fantastic tour
It is a fantastic and magical plan, sailing on the lake, while you see the snowy mountains and enjoy the breeze and the scenery
Bus and boat tour from Bariloche to Puerto Blest
Very expensive national park entrance especially for foreigners = 22600 Argentine Pesos. These are to be paid in addition to the (trip booking = (173 €). For Argentinians 5000 to 7000 pesos. Argentine pensioners don't have to pay anything Restaurant in Puerto Blest also very expensive.
Day on the water and on the trails
This was a down day for us and the cruise was the perfect way to relax after many days of hiking. The views were beautiful and the condors were entertaining. The ship was clean as were the ports. This was a good value for the money
