Full description

Venice is a city built on secrets—and its food scene is no exception. On this Private Venice Food Tour, you’ll discover the local side of this famous city with a guide who knows exactly where to find the best cicchetti, family-run *bacari*, and regional wines.

Forget the crowded spots serving tourist menus. This is your chance to experience Venice the way locals do: grazing on small bites, sipping crisp white wines, and hearing the stories that have kept these traditions alive for centuries.

If you’re craving a deeper, more personal taste of Venice, this private experience is the only way to do it.
Venice is at its best when you leave the crowds behind—and that’s exactly where this tour takes you.

Your private experience begins in the historic heart of Venice, where narrow alleyways and quiet canals lead to the tiny taverns (called bacari in Venetian) that locals love. With your guide leading the way, you’ll sample classic cicchetti like baccalà mantecato (whipped salted cod), sarde in saor (sweet and sour sardines), and other seasonal specialties, all paired with local wines that bring the flavors of Venice to life.

Between bites, you’ll learn how Venice’s unique location shaped its food culture and hear the stories behind the dishes and traditions still thriving today.

No crowds. No guesswork. Just you, your guide, and a chance to experience Venice’s food scene like a local.
