Not a very pleasant experience

Our flight into Rome was delayed which made us miss our train to Florence & caused a real chain reaction. After we paid for tickets for the new train we were kept waiting for several hours & the Italo trains were EXTREMELY late. We should’ve left by 2:10pm & didn’t leave until about 5pm! To add to all of this our train carriage door was inoperative & so we had to enter through the next carriage & walk all the way to our carriage. Additionally, the train operator didn’t give an estimate/update as to the timing for approaching stations & since we had to carry our luggage through 2 carriages to exit we ended up leaving our seats early so as not to miss our stop & ended up standing in the carriage entryway with our entire luggage for over an hour. It was an unpleasant experience. Of note, Italo sent a follow up to reimburse for the difference of the tickets we purchased but their refund terms are horrendous. They won’t just credit it back to your credit card used for the original purchase. They’re requesting bank a/c information & SSN all to do a very nominal transaction!!

Seamless!

Just seamless! Our driver was early and very easy to find. Very professional and accommodating. Helped us with our luggage. The van was spotless and comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for a better driver.

I would like a refund for...

I would like a refund for this trip. I was traveling with a special-needs daughter, and we literally walked around that entire train station. We walked to the pharmacy. We walked to the McDonald’s and there was nobody around with a sign holding our name we were stuck at that train station for five hours with no way to get to her our hotel I would like a refund and if this is not possible, I will go through my bank and I will dispute the charge.

Great experience

The driver was so patient with us. Were were a group of 6 adults with a lot of luggage and he made sure we were all comfortable and arrived at our hotel safe.
