Very disappointed
The driver taking us to Florence was almost 40 minutes late picking us up from port. Due to him being late we missed the excursion I had been looking forward to most. What added to the frustration was he didn’t even take accountability and lied to his manager about what time he picked us up and that we didn’t miss our excursion. He knew we missed the group tour as I had to use his phone to speak to the operator which we had on speaker and he had to do some of the talking. I let his manager know about our displeasure and instead of working to see what they could do he mainly tried to defend. It was a very unfortunate and disappointing experience that messed up our schedule for the rest of the day as we missed the main tour that was 6.5 hours on Vespas. He was 40 minutes late but we missed the tour by 20 minutes. The return trip with a different driver was good.
Great Transfer from Livorno to Florence
Salvatore was ready and waiting for us as we got off of our cruise ship... we needed to make an excursion in Florence and Salvatore got us there in plenty of time. Although this was just a transfer from Livorno to Florence, Salvatore pointed out historical and other sites along the way which made the trip so much better! Car was clean and spacious too! Definitely recommend this company and Salvatore!!

Overall, we had a very good experience with our transfer from the Livorno port to Florence. Our driver was kind, professional, and made the ride smooth and comfortable, pointing out scenery along the way. There was a brief moment of confusion finding the meeting point when we disembarked—the written directions didn’t mention that we should stay landside and look for someone holding a sign (no shuttle needed). Fortunately, the company responded right away and had us on our way in no time. Once sorted, everything ran seamlessly, and we truly appreciated the prompt assistance and the driver’s friendly service.
