Itinerary
Our first stop is the stunning campus of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, UNAM’s grounds showcase incredible works of Mexican art and architecture. You’ll catch a glimpse of the Estadio Olímpico Universitario, home to major cultural events and sporting history, and the famous Central Library, whose mural façade is covered in a magnificent mosaic depicting Mexico’s cultural heritage. Next, we head to Xochimilco, one of the must-see locations on any Mexico City tour. Known for its unique network of canals and floating gardens, Xochimilco preserves a piece of Mexico’s ancient heritage. Here, you’ll board a colorful **trajinera** and glide through the canals, a timeless Mexican tradition. As you drift along, vibrant sights and sounds bring the spirit of Mexican folklore to life. Around 3:30 PM, we arrive at our last major stop: Coyoacán, one of Mexico City’s most charming neighborhoods. Known for its artistic flair and colonial-era streets, Coyoacán invites you to explore its quaint plazas, artisan markets, and vibrant street life. The highlight here is the Frida Kahlo Museum, also known as the Blue House. Step into the world of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera as you walk through their former home, now a museum filled with Frida’s personal artifacts, artwork, and mementos of her life. This intimate glimpse into one of Mexico’s most beloved artists will be a highlight of your trip. Time permitting, we’ll take a quick stroll through Coyoacán’s vibrant main square, where you can explore the stalls, sample local treats, and take in the artistic ambiance that defines this beloved area of the city.

Incredible Tour!!
We had an incredible tour to the Frida Kahlo Museum with our guide, Miguel and driver Wilfredo. The driver was kind, and the van was very nice, new, and clean, which made the tour comfortable from start to finish. Our guide, Miguel, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Mexico City and shared so many fascinating details throughout the day. The day before, we asked to make some changes to the itinerary to accommodate our evening plans, and Miguel adjusted everything seamlessly. He even took us to a local crafts market that my family absolutely loved! The fast-track tickets into the museum made the process so smooth, and the transitions between different points of interest and back to our hotel were effortless. However, we were disappointed with the pricing for food and drinks during our stop at the trajineras in Xochimilco. The guide and driver ordered food and drinks but didn’t pay, and the vendor—who seemed to be their friend—charged us approximately $13 USD per plate, which is extremely high for Mexico. I live here, and my partner is a Mexico City native, so we’re familiar with fair pricing. This experience left a bad impression and influenced our decision not to leave a tip. Overall, it was still a great experience, and we’d consider booking with them again. Thanks so much!
