Itinerary
. In Cuernavaca which means “next to the trees", you will enjoy the view of the Cathedral, one of the oldest buildings in the country and fifth building in Mexico dedicated to the Catholic cult, built in 1529 by the Order of the Franciscans (World Heritage). We will also see the exterior of the Palacio de Cortés, built by order of Hernán Cortés in the years immediately following the conquest of Mexico. Finally, we will observe the Monument to Morelos, an insurgent military and Mexican patriot, who organized and was the architect of the second stage of the Mexican War of Independence.
We will continue to visit one of the treasures of the Sierra Madre: Taxco, "Silver Capital of the World", a colonial city with hundreds of years of history and one of the "magic towns" of the country. It is a picturesque little town, with cobbled streets and narrow, full of silver jewelry workshops. Here there will be time to have lunch where you wish and then we will visit one of the largest churches in Mexico: Santa Prisca, built in 1759 in the baroque style of New Spain and with stones from the area. Taxco is known worldwide for its silver mines and is one of the oldest mining centers in the continent, with operating mines and a culture of metal crafts that date back to the era of the viceroyalty. You will have the opportunity to see and buy silverware in this exclusive place.

Traveler reviews
Chronicle of a perfect trip: Culture, security and passion for Mexico
I want to share my review of the recent guide we made for the Magic Towns of Puebla and Taxco. Without fear of mistake, this has been one of the best experiences in all the trips I have made. The Guide: Ernesto Ernesto is simply one of the best guides I’ve come across. He is a very knowledgeable and cultured guy, but what really makes a difference is the love he puts into what he does. Knowledge: Deeply master the history of Mexico and every corner we visit. Attention: He was very punctual, friendly and polite throughout. Flexibility: The time delivered in each place was ideal; it was very flexible for us to enjoy our pace. Transportation and Security: Manuel I can't stop mentioning our driver, Manuel. We travel in a very comfortable vehicle and, most importantly, we always feel safe. Handling: Expert driving at the right speed. Experience: You can see their en route knowledge and their commitment to group safety. In short, both are excellent people who made this trip unforgettable. If you are looking for an enriching, safe and professional experience, they are the ideal team.
Good tour but it is a...
Good tour but it is a long day. Our tour guide was very pleasant and informative. Cuernavaca is a bigger city with a smaller colonial city center. Taxco was quaint and good place to purchase silver.
Knowledgeable tour guide, beautiful towns, but makes for a long day so just prepare for it for the best experience
Friendly and knowledgeable tour guide and great driver that made you feel safe. Our original date of our tour was cancelled about two hours before they were scheduled to pick us up due to van troubles so it's best to have a back up plan. Thankfully we were able to get on the same tour a few days later. Even though I asked what time an estimated time to return would be, the contact on whatsapp was off by three hours so best to not make any plans that evening and be sure to eat before getting back on the van since it takes a while to drop all the other passengers off.
Orlando is an Excellent Guide
Orlando is a first class tour guide. A+. Taxco and Cuernavaca are worth the visit. puebla/cholula is better if you must choose. But I would go to Taxco with Orlando over Puebla with an average guide!
Great places with great people...a must book
Malu was so very knowledgeable of every place we went to and was so fun to spend the day with. Our driver was very professional and safe. We really enjoyed ourselves!
