Full description
Most Lisbon food tours graze through a neighborhood one bite at a time. This one seats you: four stops across Bairro Alto and Príncipe Real, moving from regional wine and cheese to traditional petiscos, fresh oysters, and a composed plate at a restaurant recommended by the Michelin Guide. A private guide walks you through the evening, from Portugal's oldest food traditions to where its kitchens are headed next.
Begin in Bairro Alto at a wine bar built inside a former pharmacy, where the original apothecary cabinets now hold bottles from coastal vineyards to mountain estates. Taste a flight of regional wines paired with artisan cheeses, a first read on how differently Portugal eats depending on which coast or mountain range you're standing near. It's the kind of address with no sign out front.
Next, settle into a modern tasca where Portugal's petisco tradition plays out one small shared plate at a time. Expect crispy green bean tempura and a croqueta built from alheira, a smoked sausage with deep roots in Portuguese culinary history, paired with wine poured the way locals actually drink it.
At a stylish bar built around Atlantic oysters and cocktails, Lisbon's centuries-old relationship with the sea gets a modern rewrite. Crack into a plate of fresh oysters alongside a cocktail built specifically to stand up to the brine, in a room that feels nothing like a traditional seafood shack.
The evening closes at a restaurant recommended by the Michelin Guide, where a chef builds each night's plate around whatever the season and the market allow. Expect real technique applied to Portuguese ingredients, a composed main course paired with a final glass of wine, then dessert to close.

Reviews
Donna was amazing!! This was an amazing tour. The boat ride was amazing!!
Lara was a wonderful local tour guide!! The whole trip was as seamless, fun, and we felt prepared with parking logistics. Highly recommend the morning tour, as there was very little traffic and we had fewer tourists to navigate around. Also be prepared to be soaked on the boat tour! The priority tickets get you to the front of the boat and the waterfall spray hits you directly in the face. So fun!!
Lara was an excellent tour guide and the whole experience was worth the price.
