Itinerary
We depart Siem Reap at 4:30am, collecting all guests from their hotels. If anyone doesn't yet have an Angkor Pass, we'll make a stop at the ticket office for a chance to buy one. Our first stop is Angkor Wat itself, the greatest temple in the world and the most famous sunrise on the planet! Our Khmer guide will take you through the corridors and terraces of this breathtaking place and give you an insight into what life in the Angkor Empire was like.
Banteay Kdei is also known as 'the citadel of monk's cells'. It is partially overgrown with towering, sinous trees. The silk cotton tree roots weaving their way through the stones of the ruined walls is a famously beautiful sight.
Ta Prohm is a picturesque and attractive ruin partially retaken by jungle. It is also known as 'the Tomb Raider temple', made famous by Angelina Jolie in the 2001 film.
Ta Keo was never finished, and as such has a very different aspect to most of the Angkor temples. It's square, layered-pyramid shape makes it one of the more dramatic sites on the tour and climbing the terraces affords some beautiful views over the jungle.
Angkor Thom was the latter capital of the Angkor Empire. The road takes us through the famous South Gate, lined with gods and demons locked in an eternal tug-of-war. The temple of Bayon at the centre of the site is lined with countless beatific carved faces, gazing eternally at the surrounding forest. Then we make our way to Bayon, with its 54 towers decorated with more than 200 enigmatic smiling faces.

Unforgettable Angkor Wat Sunrise Experience
Incredible sunrise and temple tour with Sam Vone! He’s an exceptionally knowledgeable guide who made the experience both fun and engaging. He shared fascinating insights into the history and culture of each temple, highlighting details we would have otherwise missed. He also knew all the best photo spots, took amazing pictures for us, and even showed me how to use my phone camera more effectively. We had plenty of time at each stop, with flexibility for bathroom breaks and a relaxed breakfast along the way. Our driver, “Rambo,” took great care of us—helping us avoid the crowds and greeting us after each temple visit with cold water and refreshing towels. Highly recommend this tour!
Good experience
Mr John was great and funny and showed us lots of things. The temples we saw were all impressive!
recommend
John When I visited Angkor Wat this time, I used it because the price did not change for taxi or rental bike. I'm glad you moved on time. He gave me a detailed history about Angkor Wat. It was very nice to be able to hand out cold water after one program. Recommended for those who stay less than a few days
Sun rise tour was good
5 out of 5 experience with Mr John. Early morning was cooler temp and sun rise was sick as well as the rest of the temples. Also kept cool with water after every stop.
Good trip, where you got to see 4 great temples
Good trip with cute and fun guide. Sary was a great guide and you learned a lot about all the temples. The habit of driving was nice cold and you got cold water after each temple visit
